As a follow up to my earlier Women of Faith post, there's a story via Pursuit of Harpyness today called God is Not a Segregationist. It's about Muslim women who want to be able to worship in the Islamic Center of Washington's main prayer hall, instead of being segregated into a smaller chamber.
This group is part of a larger movement to desegregate Mosques everywhere, and they are quite predictably facing some of the same challenges as their sisters in other religions who advocate for equality.
